A solid therapeutic relationship is key. I strive to create a space of safety and trust where you feel seen, heard, and understood. I approach this work with all the curiosity, authenticity, compassion, respect, empathy, and good humor I can.
If we want things to be different, we must do things differently. I will help you clarify what isn’t working and explore new approaches for bringing about change.
We’ll look at the experiences that shaped you, problematic patterns, what’s getting in your way or holding you back. We’ll work to heal old wounds, identify your resources, build awareness, resilience, empowerment and self-acceptance, foster more fulfilling relationships, increase your capacity to live fully in the present moment, and cultivate a life based on what you value most.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I may offer to incorporate somatic and mindfulness-based practices, and invite deeper exploration of the unconscious through imagination, creativity, art-making, and Dream Work.
